About Our Club

The Buckeye Bulldog Club centers around Columbus, Ohio, and is made up of a membership from Ohio and many surrounding states. Buckeye is a member of the Bulldog Club of America, Division II. It was formed in 1942, the same year it held its first specialty show. Participants and guests over the years have fondly called the Buckeye Bulldog Club's show, "The Red Carpet Show." Members of the Buckeye Bulldog Club strive to make their show a truly enjoyable experience for both exhibitors and their dogs. ​

Club Events

The club has periodic meetings usually on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. 
An annual specialty show is  held every April, usually the same weekend as the Central Ohio Kennel Club's all-breed show. ​
A puppy match is held once a year in the summer or fall.
The last social event of the year is our Christmas Party in December or January. This includes a nice sit down dinner with a short program following. The club's new Champions are honored at this event.
